La paraula Geoda prové del terme grec, Geoides, que significa semblant a la Terra. Les geodes són un tipus de roques naturals que contenen una cavitat folrada de cristalls o un altre tipus de matèria mineral. Es formen com una bombolla buida dins d’una capa de roca creada per forces volcàniques o precipitacions químiques.
L’àgata es coneix com un mineral protector i és una pedra que s’ha de tenir a prop quan et sentis vulnerable o quan necessitis una protecció addicional, tant física com emocionalment. És la pedra que t’ajuda a tenir estabilitat i una conexió amb l’energia de la terra, convertint-la en una pedra amb una energia lleugera i difusa.
És la pedra ayurvèdica dels nascuts al maig i la pedra dels Capricorn i Bessons.

The word Geode comes from the Greek term, Geoides, which means Earth-like. Geodes are a type of natural rock formation that contains a cavity lined with crystals or another type of mineral matter. They are formed as a hollow bubble inside of a layer of rock which was created by volcanic forces or chemical precipitation.
Agate is known as a protective mineral and it’s a stone to keep close whenever you feel vulnerable or in need of extra protection, both physically and emotionally. Agate is the stone to call on for support when you need stability and grounding in your life. It works by connecting you with the vibrations of the Earth, making it a gentle stone with a light, diffused energy.
It’s an Ayurvedic birthstone for May and a zodiac birthstone for Capricorn and Gemini.
